FAQ

  • No, you’ll only find surplus food on the app. That’s perfectly edible, unsold food that’s left at the end of the day!

  • When we onboard every store, we check their Food & Hygiene license so it’s up to date. We also do regular Mystery Shopping to test our vendors!

  • Food surplus is unpredictable and each store is different, they’re the ones that decide when they’re ready to sell their leftovers.

  • Sometimes! Depends on the store if they’d like to list every item or call it a Mystery Box.

  • Unfortunately, depending on the shelf life, it might be reposted again the next day or thrown away.

  • As long as the payment went through and you’ve received your Mystery Box, there’s no other action to be taken. Enjoy your rescued food!
